Yesterday, I went to the American Craft Council Show in Baltimore and bought this amazing ring from artist Tara Locklear. It's a Triple Deck Cocktail Ring. It's made out of old skateboard decks that have been converted into wooden gems.
Tara Locklear makes jewelry out of wood, concrete, metal and other materials. She had numerous pieces which had casted concrete components and they were absolutely beautiful.
Here I'm rocking my ring, sans makeup with bedhead hair.
Anyway, Tara is an artist you should definitely checkout.
